OK, moaners and whingers, this is for you.
The views expressed here are my own (and I’m pretty sure those of many members of my esteemed profession if they were to be honest…. or you ply them with a load of alcohol at a party and get them to spill their TRUE feelings behind their professional sober facade) and are for entertainment purposes only. Well, OK, there’s a vague hope that some could be semi-educational for clients, vet students or new grads, that I might be of some teeny amount of (dis)service to someone.
All drawings and content on this site are my original work. Alriiiiight, another white lie: I’m shite at the background drawings and geometrical objects like furniture and pet carriers, so I might have knicked some bits off my new best friend, Chat GPT, so sue me. No really, don’t, OK? The animals and humans are all my own rather amateur doodles. Please do not use them without permission for whatever nefarious purposes you might think up. If my work or comments offend you, I am very unlikely to give a monkey’s arse but hey, I’m open minded and willing to admit fault, so if your whinging is justified and you can express yourself in a civil manner AND your complaint reaches me on a good day (with a full moon and Scorpio is in Uranus retrograde) I might consider your point of view and retract a joke or comment if I have overstepped.
Mind you, if my silly attempts at humour do truly offend you, well, you know…you can always look away. Duh. How about that? Our profession requires a whopping dose of black humour, sarcasm, and letting off of steam in order to survive the constant demands of the greater unwashed public- Most of us prefer animals to you lot, so it takes an enormous amount of effort for us to keep showing up with a smile and the endless kindness and empathy we afford people which sometimes is not returned nor appreciated.
